Three Services - Three Worship Expressions - One Goal

At First Baptist Church Athens we strive to worship God through how we live our lives, join us on Sundays as we seek after the presence of God through song, the Word, and through community.

Traditional Service

Our traditional service meets each Sunday morning at 8:30 am in the Worship Center. Worship is hymns led by a full choir accompanied by a piano and organ. The service typically lasts an hour. Worship is lead by Kern Railsback and the sermon is given by Kyle Henderson.

Contemporary Service

Our Contemporary Service meets at 11am each Sunday morning in the Worship Center. Worship is lead by a full band, and the dress is casual. The service typically lasts about 60 minutes. The service is lead by Wade Huggins and Kyle Henderson.

Bilingual Worship

Our Bilingual service meets at 11 am on Sundays in the ROC (Recreation Outreach Center) across the street from the Worship Center. Pastor Juan Moreno brings a bilingual message each week and worship is contemporary in style in primarily Spanish.
