As you’ve read the statements above you can know that you’ll hear them alot around here.  We believe we exist as a church to help others do these very 3 things.  All our various ministries and groups and service projects are in some way or another helping the people in our church towards at least one of these three goals.

We seek to bring the grace of Christ to the world through relevant worship, empowering people, and meeting needs. We stake our claim on grace. The whole world needs it. We have to take it to the world. It cannot just be sent by others we actually have to take it.  Three desires drive us: that every person loves God, that every person grows to look like Christ, and that every person is a servant.

Worship is the practical application intimacy with God. It takes the personal form of silence, prayer, mediation and the corporate form of singing, listening, speaking, lifting hands, bending knees.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. Mark 12:30

To resemble Christ a person must walk as Jesus walked–with a group, in the word. We expect every believer to need a small group of accountability, care and encouragement. We expect that every believer will be equipped to study the word and will be a student of the word.

Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. I John 2:6

Christ was a servant. We are expected to serve all. We don’t make distinctions on who to serve, but know that we must serve those that God puts in our path. We expect each church member to have a service ministry in the church and to perform service outside of the church.
