In this season of joy and giving, let's come together to spread warmth and love to those who need it most. Our Children's Clothing Ministry is reaching out for a special Christmas plea. Last week, we were heartbroken to be unable to serve several children due to a shortage in their sizes. Over the past year, we've been blessed to clothe 577 kids, providing over 100 pairs of jeans each month, but this has strained our resources.
As we approach Christmas people are often asking how they can help others. It’s the spirit of giving that defines this time of year. We believe in extending a helping hand in the name of Jesus to ensure that every child experiences the joy and warmth that comes with new clothes. This year we have noticed an increase in families that are struggling, they are trying, but they are having a hard time. Your support is crucial. Whether it's donating gently used clothes, fulfilling a wish on our Amazon list, buying clothes and dropping them off or contributing cash, your generosity will shine a light into the lives who God is sending our way.
This year, our goal is to raise at least $5,000 in cash and in-kind donations, making a difference in the lives of these children. Let's embody the spirit of Christmas and share the love that Jesus taught us.
How to Help:
Donate gently used clothes ASAP - we will be open on Nov 30 and have immediate needs.
Go to our Amazon wish list, purchase some things and have them delivered to the church.
Go shopping and buy clothes and drop them off at the church. We need kids/youth jeans, PJs and winter jackets.
Donate money. Call the office or mark your gifts to the Children's Clothing Ministry.
