In the first 4 chapters of the book of John, we find that Jesus and his disciples spend a great deal of time together. Jesus spends time one day (John 1:39), goes to a wedding (John 2:2), visits family (John 2:12), and talks to a woman at a well (John 4:1) all while traveling with these men. Jesus lived his life in a group and we believe that as His followers, we are called to do the same.
Small groups meet throughout the year and are made up of a wide variety of people. There are groups with singles, parents with children, empty nesters, and every other stage of life that you can think of. Groups gather together to spend time reflecting on how to live a life more like Jesus.
At First Baptist Church, we believe that life is better when it is connected to a group of other believers. We want to help you get connected to a group. As a new small group study begins, there will be opportunities to sign up on this page or at the church.
