Ministry Description

When people's homes and property are damaged by a natural disaster such as a hurricane, tornado, flood, or fire, the members of First Baptist Church respond with more than their money. Volunteers travel into horrific scenes of destruction to help victims of disaster begin the long process of recovery. FBCA was among the first to send recovery teams to Houston, Wharton, and Orange. But, that was only the beginning. For the past months our church has been helping St. Paul baptist Church recover from the damage done by the hurricane.

Now that the majority of the physical repair work has been done, we can help restore the ministry of the church. We have been invited to help present a Vacation bible School to the church and neighborhood children!

Our Ministry Will Include

Fellowship meals, Bible stories, worship songs, learning crafts, games, recreation, clean up property damage caused by hurricane harvey and much more.

What to Bring

Sleeping bag, Pillow, Bible and Pen, Appropriate clothing fro 5 days, Athletic clothing for rec, Toiletries, Towel, Swimsuit, Sunscreen, A good attitude that will last all week!
