The Past Marches In
One of the fun things about youth camp for me is that we camp with my home church, First Baptist Arlington and we camp at the same camp I grew up going to as a camper, Riverbend Retreat Center. This means two things for me, I get to see old friends and I have to face up to all the stuff I did as a camper. My reputation far out weighs the actual reality of the mischief. I got into at camp. We arrived back at airport. First computer access in Tanzania. Sorry we have not been able to update. We arrived at 3:15 am on Tue. The airport was empty except for massive, scary and numerous beetles a very intimidating welcome.no photo at visa line. Easy trip to hotel. Air conditioning marginal, but sleep came easy. Tuesday about 8:30 got up and headed for breakfast. All felt good and the extra hour of sleep was helpful. We got on the road and went to Arusha to get our lunches And then to Tarangera NP. We had picnic lunch at front gate and the drive in the park. Very funny monkeys at...
